Yardi RISE returned in December for its end-of-year session, bringing colleagues together at the Milton Keynes office for an inspiring and thoughtful afternoon focused on women’s health, wellbeing and connection.
Reflecting on RISE’s Growth and Impact

The session opened with a look back at RISE’s journey and how far the initiative has come since its launch. Introduced in summer 2022 with two in-person launch events, RISE is now proudly marking three years of impact. Over that time, more than 15 events have been delivered, ranging from in-person workshops to virtual sessions, with contributions from over 20 internal and external speakers.
What began as Yardi RISE, centred on ‘your network, your voice, your space’, has continued to evolve. The initiative has expanded to include RISE with Allies, focused on learning and growing together, and W@Y to RISE, developed in collaboration with the US Women at Yardi (W@Y) team to foster global connections, leadership insight and shared learning across regions.
Inspiring Personal Stories and Shared Experiences
Following the introduction, colleagues heard inspiring and personal stories from women across Yardi. These open conversations covered experiences with pregnancy, mental health, physical health and deep vein thrombosis (DVT), creating a supportive space for shared understanding, awareness and empathy.
Elevate Health: Empowering Women’s Health

The afternoon then welcomed Elevate Health, who delivered an engaging session on women’s fitness, health and nutrition. A key focus was cycle syncing, which explored how fitness, food, and productivity can align with the different phases of the menstrual cycle. The session highlighted:

- Hormonal alignment: adjusting lifestyle, training and nutrition to support natural hormone fluctuations
- Energy awareness: listening to changing energy levels rather than pushing constantly
- Intentional planning: timing workouts, work and rest to suit each phase of the cycle
Attendees were then invited to experience a group Pilates session led by Chloe from Elevate. In addition, the groups were able to try compression boots that support recovery, reduce swelling, and promote lymphatic drainage.
Community Support: Willen Hospice Partnership
The day concluded with a visit from Willen Hospice, who collected the generous donations gathered by the Milton Keynes office. Representatives from the hospice shared how they rely on local communities to raise £9.6 million each year to continue their vital work. Through our donation station, colleagues contributed new and pre-loved items in good condition, which will either be sold in Willen Hospice shops or given as gifts to those they support over the festive period.
The event was a meaningful way to close the year, combining education, wellbeing, community impact and connection, and a reminder of the power of coming together to support one another, both within Yardi and beyond.
