We’re delighted to introduce you to Gahtiff Ali who recently joined the Yardi team in our London office as an applications solution consultant, let’s get to know him better.
What’s your job title and what do you like most about your job?
I am an applications solution consultant at Yardi working within the residential team and really enjoy the team I work with; they are all supportive and great fun to work with, I really like meeting new people and learning from their experiences and challenges!
What do you love to do when you’re not working?
I spend most of my spare time learning new skills – I have recently been working on my cooking skills and have several great recipes. I also really enjoy going out and exploring new places to go to in and around London, which is my hometown, with friends and family as there’s always plenty of activities going on.
What is your favourite mobile app and why?
I would say social media comes top with Instagram as all my friends are active on there and we are always keeping up to date and sending content to one another.
What do you love most about the real estate industry?
The growth and change within real estate are always paramount to me. I am interested within all levels and stages of the real estate industry but the construction of the building and the architecture of new buildings once finished is always fascinating to me.
If you could travel anywhere right now, where would you go?
I would love to go somewhere hot as its winter right now, A safari holiday in Botswana/Kenya where I can see the lions in their natural habitat, as being a big cat fan, this would be a brilliant and memorable experience.
What’s your favourite Yardi product and why?
The Yardi Resident App to me is my favourite product as it features everything you need within a simple and easy user to user interface, the payment feature is my favourite part.
Favourite movie of all time?
The Dark Knight Rises is an all-time favourite – I have seen this movie many times and it never gets old – love it.

Interesting fact about me is that I support Manchester United and I’m a huge football gaming fan and have purchased every FIFA Football game release that has launched for the last 15+ years (A lot of money). 😊
